YouTube Video Summarizer

Paste a link. Get what the video actually claims, in order, with the caveats kept in.

A chatbot cannot do this on its own — it has no way to open the URL. This pulls the captions first, then reads them.

Limits worth knowing

Captions are required. No captions, no summary — there is nothing to read. Auto-captions usually appear within hours of upload; live streams often never get them.

It summarises claims, it does not verify them. If the video is wrong, the summary faithfully reports something wrong. The "Worth knowing" section flags assertions made without evidence, which is not the same as fact-checking.

Rate limited. This runs on a free shared quota, so there is a cap per visitor and a daily cap for the whole site.
